How do I search for an accommodation?
Click on “Fast Search,” under Accommodation select the type of lodging, the period of the stay and the number of people. Analyze the list of accommodations on the following page and choose one to view more details. Make the reservation online by filling in the form. Make sure to insert all the necessary data.
How do I make a reservation online?
Once you have chosen an accommodation, you can make the reservation online by filling out the online form. Make sure to insert all of the data correctly.
When will I receive the address and information from the proprietor?
You will jointly receive the address and the contact information with the reservation confirmation.
When and how do I pay the rent for the accommodation?
The rent is paid in cash directly to the contact person who will show you the accommodation on the arrival day. In some cases the rent is paid to the proprietor before the arrival through bank transfer. All the details will be explained in the reservation confirmation.
When and where do I receive the keys?
Normally the contact person will hand over the keys on the arrival day after showing you the accommodation. All the details will be explained in the reservation confirmation.
What must I bring to the accommodation?
All the listed lodgings are completely equipped with sheets, towels, etc. Guests must bring their personal belongings. The facilities and content of the accommodation are detailed on the Web page.
What is the deposit? Where can I see how much the deposit is?
The deposit is a guarantee for the proprietor to ensure the visitor takes care of the lodging. The day of arrival you will pay the deposit (aside from the rent) to the contact person. The day of your departure the same person will review the lodging with you and return the deposit after having received the keys. The value of the deposit can vary according to the lodging. The exact value corresponding to the lodging can be found on the page with the complete description, underneath the rental price. If the deposit amount says 0.00 € it is not necessary to pay any deposit. The proprietor expects good behaviour from their guests.
When will I receive the reservation confirmation?
Normally the confirmation is sent immediately after you complete the reservation form.
Note: We cannot confirm the reservation until we have received all the necessary data and pre-payment. We update our data base at the same time we confirm your reservation.
How can I cancel a reservation?
All cancellations must be mailed by email or fax directly to the person in charge of your reservation. Please take note that our conditions with respect to returns depend on the time before the arrival date. To obtain more information please read the rental conditions.
Will there be a return in case of a cancellation?

When should I make a reservation?
There is a great deal of demand for the lodgings we offer, primarily in the high season. For this reason we recommended you make the reservation as promptly as possible in order to obtain your desired lodging. We cannot hold any accommodation and the first user to make a reservation will receive the confirmation.
Does Open House Spain S.L. have more lodgings than those found on the Web page?
No, we do not have more lodgings available than those found on the Web page.
I would like to show the accommodations to my friends / family. Can you send me a catalogue?
We do not have a catalogue of our accommodations and we do not believe this will cause any problems. Wherever you are, you can visit our Web page to view all the lodgings presented with great detail and more photographs than usually offered in a catalogue. By sending the Internet address to your friends / family, they can view the accommodations you are interested in without having to wait for a catalogue. You can also send the lodgings directly to your friends and family by selecting the function “Send to a Friend.” If one of your friends / family do not have Internet access, you can print the page and give it to them. Unlike a catalogue, our Web page is always updated and available at any time. We work on the Web site every day and users will only see actualized data, availability and prices.
When are the low and high seasons?
The high / low season information appears in the description for each property and varies based on the destination.
When is the best time to visit a destination?
This is a very difficult question to answer because it depends on your own interests and plans for the visit. If you want to enjoy the good weather, summer is the best time to plan your trip. Everything depends on your preferences. Each and every destination offers unique enchantments all year round!
Are animals accepted in the accommodations?
Domestic animals are allowed in some apartments. Users can consult the corresponding accommodations by using the advanced search option found on the Web page.
Rent of an apartment: Will there be other guests in the apartment I have rented?
There will never be other guests in the apartment you have reserved. This is also valid if the number of travellers in your group does not meet the maximum occupation anticipated for the apartment.
Who will attend to me once I have arrived at the destination?
Once you have arrived at your destination, the proprietor of the apartment or contact person will attend to your needs. In the reservation confirmation you will find all the details necessary to contact the proprietor before your arrival to make specific plans for a meeting place and time (normally in the apartment). He/she will give you the keys and collect the rent and deposit.
How do I collect the keys for the apartment?
After your arrival at the destination, the proprietor of the apartment or a contact person will meet you. In the reservation confirmation you will find all the details necessary to contact the proprietor before the arrival to make specific plans for a meeting place and time (normally in the apartment). He/she will give you the keys and collect the rent and deposit.
What are the arrival and departure times?
The schedules for check-in/out are as follows:
- check in: 16:00 – 20:00
- check out: until 11:00
Any arrival / departure times outside of this schedule must be decided with the proprietor previous to the arrival.
What languages does the proprietor of the apartment speak?
The languages spoken by the proprietor are specified in their reservation confirmation. If the proprietor does not speak a language with which you are familiarized, naturally we can intervene.
Where may I leave suitcases?
We do not have any place to store suitcases for our clients. If your trip schedule made it necessary, you can speak with the proprietor of the apartment about the possibility of keeping the suitcases until the arrival / departure time.
What is the state of the apartments?
The apartments are in good condition, always fulfilling the minimum quality requirements demanded by our company, including the electronic equipment and home appliances that appear in the apartment description.
Is it possible to receive an invoice for the reservation of an apartment?
We can issue an invoice for the pre-payment only. Because the remaining amount is paid directly to the proprietor, we cannot issue an invoice for this amount. You may consult directly with the proprietor for an invoice, however most are private owners and not businesses, therefore they cannot issue an official invoice. However, they can provide a receipt for the amount paid.

To whom and when do I pay the reservation for my hotel?
You must pay the total sum by credit card when making the hotel reservation on our web page. We will deliver your reservation data to the Hotel and you only need to present the confirmation email, which serves as a voucher.
When will I receive the reservation confirmation for the Hotel?
Generally, we send the confirmation email / voucher immediately after you have completed the reservation form.
How can I cancel my hotel reservation?

How far in advance is it recommended to make a Hotel reservation?
Keep in mind that many destinations have a very high demand for Hotels, especially in high season and during conferences, fairs, cultural events and/or sporting events. For these reasons we always recommend that you make your reservation as soon as possible in order to guarantee a place in your preferred Hotel.
Is it possible to receive an invoice (hotel reservation)?
In order to receive an invoice for the amount of a hotel reservation, mark the corresponding square in the reservation form. We will send it by electronic mail. All of the other accommodations listed on the web page belong to private owners and it is not always possible to receive an invoice for the total reservation amount. If an invoice is absolutely necessary, please contact Open House Spain S.L. before making the reservation.
System of payment, tariffs and conditions
Can I trust the information system to insert my credit card number?
We take every precaution to protect your personal data, especially your credit card information. All of the secret information is coded and protected with the best software on the market - SSL. While on one of our safe pages, such as the payment page, there is a closed padlock in the lower part of the navigator (Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer), on other pages the padlock symbol is open. In addition, we do everything possible to protect your information off-line. All of the data is limited to professional use and only within the offices of Open House Spain S.L., which fulfils all the effective laws for Data Protection.
What methods of payment are accepted?
For the pre-payment we accept credit cards (Visa, EuroCard / MasterCard, American Express and JCB) or cash in our office. The remaining amount of the reservation must be paid directly to the contact person on the arrival day at the accommodation.
Some of the proprietors also accept bank transfers before the arrival. If you prefer this method, please contact the proprietor directly once you have received the reservation confirmation. For Hotel reservations we only accept the before mentioned credit cards, due to the cooperation with an international central system for reservations.
After the pre-payment, can I pay the remaining amount to Open House Spain S.L.?
No, this is not possible. After pre-payment, the pending amount must be paid directly to the proprietor. For Spanish courses the pending amount must be paid directly to the school. For Hotel reservations the entire amount, everything included, is paid at the time of reservation.
Can I pay the remaining amount after pre-payment with a credit card?
No, it is not possible. On your arrival at the lodging you must pay the amount indicated in the confirmation in cash to the contact person. By all means you will receive a receipt.

The prices indicated by the system - Are the definitive? Do they include cleaning?
After having consulted the available apartments through the search on the home page, the prices shown are the definitive prices. These prices include all expenses (water, electricity, etc.) as well as the final cleaning of the apartment.

I am travelling with children. What are the prices?
Children under two years of age do not pay (they should be included in the reservation). Children more than two years old have the same tariffs as adults.
How is the deposit / guarantee received and returned?
The guarantee is usually acquired in cash when the guest enters the apartment. The day of departure the proprietor will return the guarantee after having reviewed the state the apartment. If the proprietor finds damage caused by the renter, the proprietor will compensate for the damage with (part of) the guarantee.
Are the prices for the apartment calculated per person or night?The total price shown after having realized a search using people and dates corresponds to the total price for all the travellers.
How is the price calculated “from… €/person”?
The expression “from XX € / person” indicates the lowest price for the apartment, depending on the maximum occupation, maximum stay and the season (high / low).
For example: if you reserve an apartment in high season for two people, where the apartment has a maximum capacity of four people, the price will be proportionally higher, because it is high season and the price is distributed into the number of people, which is less than the maximum occupation for this apartment. If you reserve the same apartment for 4 people, in medium / high season and for the maximum stay allowed, you will pay the price indicated per person.
